Books
The Bounty Trilogy, Anything historically-correct, scientifically-significant or action-packed. No dramatic novelas for me, Man. Life and women offer enough drama... Why look for it in a book...? Books that explain the truth about people, places and politics always get my attention.
Music
Classic Rock, R&B, Classical (Especially the wild stuff that gets used as theme-material in old war-flicks.), Jazz, Country-Western lyrics are great, but I just can't get into the music itself.
TV
M*A*S*H, BuffyTVS, "Little House" series, "Nash Bridges", "Nikita", anything that makes me laugh, cry or think...
Movies
"Snow Falling on Cedars" was good. I grew up with "Star Wars" and can't seem to free myself from this addiction to space and time travel themes...

"To educate a man in the mind and not in the morals is to create a menace to society." --Theodore Roosevelt

About Me
Well..., first of all... I love ME...
...XICAN food best, but like everthing on most menus.
I'm really good at learning languages, teaching life lessons, creating crafts, using tools, driving vehicles and heavy equipment, entertaining others, selling quality products and services, collecting anything and everything, caring, loving etc...
I spend a lot of time thinking about how much I'll accomplish during my life, how many people I can help before I go and for what and how long I'll be remembered once I'm gone.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here is that I'm 44 and feeling like my life has just begun... I've accomplished much, but have little to show for it. I plan to learn much more, work harder and value people even more.
Six things I could never do without are people to teach, help and lead; People to learn from, admire and emulate; People to like, love and compete with; Pets to care for and be loved by; Things to utilize and freedoms to use them; Places to go and reasons to visit them.
What am I doing with my life...?
Building a HomeStay business and a few websites to support my future activities, sanity and lifestyle.
Raising my son to be a man, raising my daughter to be a lady, trying to forgive their mom for leaving, training myself not to live in the past or regret mistakes.
Hoping to meet new people and make NEW friends..., but mostly want to re-connect and reminisce with OLD friends. It would be nice to hook up with some business-minded folks too.
