And while we wait for our numbers to grow into Guinness Book of Records proportions, we explore the other site options that are there to keep us busy, networking and entertaining ourselves in innocent ways.

We can join groups, join in discussions on forums, send personal messages, play games - oh, speaking of games: Having just said to my three children - who are all, in varying degrees, addicted to playing computer games - that playing games seems to be a complete waste of time, I have to admit now that I might have to make an exception for innocent ones like Pairs and Sudoku.

In fact, I think that these games might even prove to be extra stimulating for the "little grey cells", to use an immortal phrase, coined by the fictional but famous figure of Hercule Poirot.

Since I joined this site when the registered users were still counted in double digits, it is gratifying to see that we've been into triple digits for some time now. If we keep going like this, we'll reach quadruple digits quite soon.

Perhaps it's now time to start spending my face coins. I just spent the first 100 on this blog feature. Who knows - maybe I'll think of some kind of use for addyourface photo albums as well and give myself a reason to spend the next 100...

At least it's a perfectly safe way to spend cash - digital cash, earned for free with addyourface.com activity, won't break the bank. And isn't that a comforting thought in this credit crunch and time of increasing inflation!
