A couple of weeks ago I went on holiday to Texas to visit my parents and a friend of mind. While I was there, I found my old Alto Sax. So I brought that back with me to England.

Last weekend, Sharon and I went to meadowhall and bought a couple of books of music for it and a music stand. So, the other night, Sharon and Jas were watching Dirty Dancing on tele, so I thought I would have a go and trying to play it again. It had been over 4 years since the last time I tried playing and I was rather impressed with myself. Very surprised I could pull any sort of note or even a scale.

I really enjoyed playing that night and have a feeling im going to be doing it more and more often.

So, now I'm practising some Christmas music for Christmas day when I can entertain the family with a bit of it.
