General Information
I'm a freelance graphic designer, photographer and photojournalist. I run my own company, Creative19. We specialise in typographic and graphic design for print as well as all kinds of photography.

Design Experience
I qualified 1981, having completed an art and design foundation and also a three year City and Guilds 532 Certificate in Typographic Design, (degree equivalent).
I've worked for all kinds of organisations from community groups/small businesses to national organisations/blue chip clients as well for the print and publishing industry gaining a solid background of more than 26 years experience.
I've strong experience in litho, screen and digital as a designer, printer, account handler and buyer. I've also brought flexography. Up to now I haven't been involved in gravure, but I'd jump at the chance.
My experience spans all aspects of design and typography and I've handled everything from business cards to 96 sheet posters. I'm especially skilled in corporate identity, annual reports, brochures, flyers and leaflets.
Previous clients include: Watford Borough Council, Unison, Larousse Kingfisher Publishing, Clays Lane Housing Co-operative, Housing 21, Redgrave Village Youth Project, Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health Trust and Purple Sofa Publications.
Photography Experience
I'm also a skilled digital photographer and I'm capable of originating high quality images for reproduction in both printed and web based media. I've produced images for a wide variety of clients in addition to working freelance as a press photographer.
Previous clients include: Clays Lane Housing Co-operative, the Camping and Caravanning Club, Redgrave Village, London & South Eastern Railway, Crisis, and various newspapers, including: the Morning Star, the Hampstead Highgate Express, the Marylebone Express, the Wood & Vale and Disability Now.
I'm listed on the NUJ freelance directory and have a current and valid press ID card.
Other Information
It goes without saying that I have excellent interpersonal and communications skills as well as a 'can do’ attitude and a willingness to work hard. I'm an enthusiastic, involved and meticulous worker and have a good eye for detail. If you use me as your key creative you won't be disappointed.
I have strong computer skills on both the Apple Macintosh and PC platforms and have experience of systems administrating a Macintosh LAN. I'm proficient in a wide variety of software, especially Quark XPress, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat as well as Microsoft Office.
