I have a Nikon D40x and would like some advice on what settings to use for grabbing some decent firework shots. Any advice please. Thanks

I shoot with a D3 and D300 and a gaggle of lenses. I just got the SB-900 as well and love it. The SB-900 and 2 SB-800's are a great go anywhere lighting setup.

Nikon D200 & 300 - 700 is on order! SB 600, but 900 coming. Wondering which full frame lenses to order for the700 - any thoughts - I shoot mostly landscape and events.

Nikon D50, D200, D300 (They're getting more expensive with each addition!). SB600, SB800 (same trend!). Would like a D700, but the bank manager won't allow as the DX lenses (2 off) would need changing too!

Then there's the awesome SB900, but that will have to wait a couple of weddings!

Nikon D3 14-24mm f/2.8 24-70mm f/2.8 SB800 Flash. Switched from Canon to Nikon earlier this year for the High iso and boy is it brilliant regularly shoot at 2500iso to get shutterspeeds I want in churches when vicar won't allow flash and pictures are superb.
