Nihao. My name is Tom Carter and I am a photographer in China and the author of CHINA: Portrait of a People. I spent 2 years backpacking to all 33 provinces to photograph my book, and lived a total of 4 straight years in China. If anyone has any travel-related questions about China, feel free to ask.
